3 survivors of a "pirate" attack claim the assialants numbered around 14 men and were aboard philippine type of fishing vessel but also had a small speed boat.
The men spoke to them in English and also what sounded like southern philippine dialect to each other.
Authorities from both countries are checking into the reports.
